Questions include how modeling, instrumentation, and integration can make a proposed system observable and testable.
A stated operating envelope, a reproducible test, and an honest distinction between simulation and physical validation.
Giving unfamiliar possibilities a fair test.
Questions may cross established disciplines. A promising concept begins a research question; it does not establish a capability.
A falsifiable hypothesis, bounded experiment, alternative explanations, and a decision to continue, revise, or stop.
The working standard
Define the problem, its constraints, and what a useful result would mean.
Study prior work and design a bounded experiment with a comparison.
Record failures, test alternatives, and examine the limits.
Publish only what is cleared, with its evidence and current stage.
A useful question is a beginning.
